Upgrade golang.org/x/sys/unix so that it contains go.dev/cl/419915, a
fix for FreeBSD's ptrace functions that used *byte to represent
addresses on the tracee address space.
* pkg/terminal: support ctrlz for shell job control
This required forking peterh/liner under the go-delve org and using that
instead since upstream is not open to supporting this feature.
Fixes#2157
* Update liner
* Update liner but correctly this time
* upgrade golang.org/x/tools to 0.1.9
* go.mod: update golang.org/x/tools to v0.1.8
Fixes TestGeneratedDoc on go1.18
* TeamCity: bump test matrix
Add 1.18 to test matrix. Remove 1.15 from test matrix and from support range.
* proc,tests: update for regabi on arm64 and 386
Make sure that stacktrace registers always contain the PC register of
the current frame, even though the debug_frame rules might not specify
it on architectures that use a link register.
The PC register is needed to look up loclist entries for variable
evaluation.
* goversion: bump maximum supported Go version to 1.18
* proc: disable asyncpreempt on linux/arm64
Asyncpreempt on linux/arm64 can sometimes restart a sequence of
instructions which will make breakpoint appear to be hit twice in some
cases.
* proc,locspec: support setting breakpoints by func name on generic funcs
Changes proc.Function to parse function names correctly when they
contain instantiation lists and locspec to match generic functions.
* vendor: update golang.org/x/tools
The old version of golang.org/x/tools is incompatible with the new
iexport format.
* delve now can be built to arm64-arch and running on linux-arm64 OS.
* arm64 general-purpose registers have completed.
* arm64 disasm has completed.

* *: Add .cirrus.yml for FreeBSD testing
* *: run go mod tidy
* service/test: prefer 127.0.0.1 over localhost
* dwarf/line: fix TestDebugLinePrologueParser
* vendor: rerun go mod vendor
We forgot to run typecheckrpc.go periodically and it didn't work
anymore and there were some minor errors in service/rpc2/client.go.
Rewrite typecheckrpc.go using go/packages, so that it works with go1.11
and go.mod, and fix the issues in client.go
updates vendored version of x86asm, adds a symbol lookup function to
pass to the disassembler.
This will show global symbol names in the disassembly like go tool
objdump does.
Splits out type parsing and go-specific Type hierarchy from
x/debug/dwarf, replace x/debug/dwarf with debug/dwarf everywhere,
remove x/debug/dwarf from vendoring.
* pkg/proc: use golang.org/x/arch/x86/x86asm
instead of rsc.io/x86/x86asm
* pkg/dwarf: migrate to github.com/pkg/profile
from github.com/davecheney/profile
* scripts: keep script go files from being considered for the build
scripts/gen-*.go files are scripts for generating documentation
files and don't follow the typical Go package layout. Expected
usage is like
go run scripts/gen-cli-docs.go
* vendor: update vendored packages
There were many changes in delve, and go tool chains since last
vendored package update. I just rerun godpes from scratch.
$ rm vendor/*
$ rm Godeps/Godeps.json
$ go list ./... | grep -v /vendor/ | grep -v /scripts/ | go get -u -t
$ go get -u github.com/mattn/go-colorable
$ go get -u github.com/mattn/go-isatty
$ go list ./... | grep -v /vendor/ | grep -v /scripts/ | godeps save
* tests: update to cope with go1.7 SSA compiler
* de-vendored golang.org/x/debug/dwarf
We need our own tweaked version
* dwarf/debug/dwarf: always use the entry's name attribute
Using the name attribute leads to better type names as well as fixes
inconsistencies between 1.5, 1.6 and 1.7.
* proc: Updated loadInterface to work with go1.7
go1.7 changed the internal representation of types, removing the string
field from runtime._type.
Updated loadInterface to use the new str field.
Typedefs that resolve to slices are not recorded in DWARF as typedefs
but instead as structs in a way that there is no way to know they
are really slices using debug/dwarf.
Using golang.org/x/debug/dwarf instead this problem is solved and
as a bonus some types are printed with a nicer names: (struct string
→ string, struct []int → []int, etc)
Fixes#356 and #293
Use godeps to vendor dependencies and the normal go toolchain, with
GO15VENDOREXPERIMENT=1 set to properly vendor dependencies for reproducible
builds.
